Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Replies to Boy’s Letter, Sends Him a Gift

A 10-year-old student from Tehran wrote a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, expressing his love and gratitude. Khamenei has replied to the child’s letter and also sent him a gift.
According to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, the student, Alireza Bakhshi Iraj, a resident of Tehran, wrote the letter to the Supreme Leader on September 14.
In his letter, Alireza expressed his love and gratitude for the Supreme Leader’s guidance. As a token of appreciation, he also offered some money as a gift and requested that it be used to support Islamic fighters.
In the letter, the child wrote, “To be honest, I do not know whether my letter will reach you. I wish I could speak to you in person. We owe you a great deal for your guidance.”
At the end of the letter, Alireza expressed his hope of meeting the Supreme Leader and wished him a belated happy birthday.
After receiving the letter, Mojtaba Khamenei sent a reply to the child on October 11. Addressing Alireza as “dear friend”, he thanked him for his sincerity.
In his reply, Mojtaba Khamenei wrote, “Thank you for your sincerity. However, this humble servant was born in the month of Esfand (late February to early March). Although this gift is very modest compared to your generosity, I am sending you a gift in return. Please convey my greetings to everyone in your family.”
At the end of the letter, he also praised the child’s handwriting, writing, “Your handwriting is very beautiful.”
Although it was announced that a gift had been sent to Alireza on behalf of the Supreme Leader, no details were disclosed about what the gift was.
