Macklemore’s ‘Free Palestine’ show tickets sold out quickly

US rapper Macklemore announced a new concert tour in solidarity with Palestinians. Within days of the announcement, all tickets for three shows on his ‘Free Palestine’ tour were sold out. The musician shared the news on social media.
Mr Macklemore said all three shows in Dublin, Paris and London sold out quickly after tickets went on sale. He expressed surprise at the response and thanked his fans.
The tour will begin on October 26 at the 3Arena in Dublin. He will then perform at the Accor Arena in Paris on October 29 and OVO Arena Wembley in London on October 30. Several other artists are also expected to perform at the shows, but their names have not yet been announced.
Mr Macklemore’s team said proceeds from the concerts will be donated to organisations working to support Palestinians. The rapper has said he wants to use music not only as entertainment but also as a means of showing solidarity and raising funds.

Mr Macklemore was previously scheduled to perform at several US shows on Ed Sheeran’s ‘Loop’ tour. However, he was removed from the remaining shows after making pro-Palestinian comments. The tour organisers said some venues had raised objections to his appearance. Mr. Sheeran later said the decision to remove Macklemore was made by the organisers.

Following the incident, Mr Macklemore announced his ‘Free Palestine’ tour. After tickets for the three European shows sold out quickly, attention has now turned to his upcoming events and the guest artists who will join him.
