PM Holds Meeting with Gates Foundation CEO
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a meeting with Mark Suzman, CEO of the Gates Foundation, at the prime minister’s hotel residence in New York on Wednesday.
The meeting discussed public health, child healthcare, vaccination, affordable vaccine supplies, preventive healthcare and the modernisation of the health system.
They also exchanged views on plans to expand healthcare services at the upazila and district levels. In addition, they discussed plans to recruit and train 100,000 health workers, create international employment opportunities for trained health workers, and develop an AI-integrated digital public health system.
