Saudi Arabia Issues Danger Alert in Two Provinces, Later Lifts It

The Saudi Civil Defense Authority had issued safety alerts in the southern province of Najran and the southwestern province of Jazan over potential hazards, though it announced shortly afterward that the situation was all clear and the danger had passed.
Through the National Early Warning Platform of the Saudi Civil Defense Department, emergency alert messages were sent initially to the Jazan region and subsequently to the Najran province.
In an urgent warning, the authority stated, ‘For your safety, please follow the instructions of the Civil Defense and completely refrain from gathering in public places or capturing videos and photos.’
Immediately following the issuance of the warning, the Civil Defense Department announced that the potential risks in both regions had subsided. However, the authorities did not immediately disclose detailed information regarding the specific cause of the danger or the nature of the threat.
