Zahir Uddin Swapan submits joining letter to PM

Former information minister Mr. Zahir Uddin Swapan has submitted his joining letter to Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman as his political adviser. He submitted the joining letter at the Prime Minister’s Office at Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday afternoon.

The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the matter.Mr. Swapan resigned as information minister last Friday. The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification on Saturday appointing him as the prime minister’s political adviser with the status of a minister.
