Russia’s Strikes Across Ukraine Destroy Radar and Data Centers

Russia has launched a sweeping air and drone attack targeting Ukraine’s military infrastructure, radar systems, and key data centers, according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed by TASS. The overnight offensive utilized ‘Geran’ kamikaze drones and military warplanes. Strikes focused on military logistics hubs, transport networks, port facilities, and commercial vessels linked to Ukrainian military operations.

Drone operations destroyed two major Ukrainian radar systems, one in Mirgorod (Poltava region) and another in Kahorlyk (Odesa region). Furthermore, drone strikes disabled four prominent data centers in various cities: Parkovy, Ukrtelecom, Gigabyte, and Podolsky. Meanwhile, a missile attack wiped out a rocket storage facility in Ilyichevka, Odesa. Navigational targets included a military equipment bulk carrier in Chornomorsk and a cargo offloading jetty at Izmail.

In Donetsk, an airstrike hit a temporary Ukrainian National Guard base, while Russian forces claimed to have downed a Ukrainian reconnaissance balloon with a Starlink module operating above 10,000 meters. Meanwhile, in the capital region, Kyiv-appointed official Khyievsky confirmed that a critical bridge spanning the Dnipro River sustained explosion damage. Additionally, the capital’s Omega Telecom data center was damaged and forced off the network.

Following the bridge damage, severe traffic gridlocks hit the capital as residents began evacuating. Ukrainian Member of Parliament Anna Skorokhod and local media reported massive congestion across Kyiv as panicked citizens fled. With critical communications, logistics, and data infrastructure disrupted simultaneously, this multi-front strike marks a significant escalation in Russian targeted operations against Ukrainian strategic nodes.
