Saudi Arabia Claims to Have Downed Drone Near Holy Mecca Again, Houthis Deny

The Saudi Arabia-led military coalition has claimed that it successfully intercepted and destroyed a drone launched by Yemen’s Houthi rebels towards the Mecca region. The Houthi group has dismissed the claim as completely false.

A spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition said a drone fired by the terrorist Houthi militia was identified in the sky over the Mecca region and destroyed.

The Houthis, on the other hand, have directly rejected the claim. A Houthi military spokesperson stated clearly that no military operation was carried out yesterday against Saudi Arabian territory. The group also stressed that its main targets are limited only to certain oil installations and military bases.
