Samanzar to Represent Bangladesh at Miss World 2026

Miss World Bangladesh 2026 winner Samanzar Sayeed is set to represent Bangladesh at the Miss World 2026 pageant in Vietnam. She will leave for Hanoi on Saturday to join the global competition. The international event will begin in Hanoi on Sunday, with the grand finale scheduled for September 5 in Ho Chi Minh City. Samanzar said her main goal is to remain confident on stage and not let nervousness affect her performance. She wants to apply what she has learned and represent Bangladesh with pride.
She graduated in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from North South University. Out of curiosity, she entered the Miss World Bangladesh competition for the first time and went on to win the title. Samanzar completed her undergraduate studies in April and registered for the pageant in July. She initially joined to gain experience but was surprised to emerge as the winner after advancing through every round. After winning the crown, she underwent grooming to improve her personality and international presentation skills. Meeting people from different professions also helped strengthen her confidence and communication skills.
According to Samanzar, Miss World is more than a beauty contest, as it values personality, ideas and social responsibility alongside appearance. She has enjoyed watching beauty pageants since childhood. She trained in Kathak and Bharatanatyam for four years and enjoys singing, dancing and sports. She is also interested in acting. Born and raised in Dhaka, Samanzar enjoys watching films and playing basketball and table tennis. She was crowned Miss World Bangladesh 2026 on July 11, succeeding Miss World Bangladesh 2025 Aklima Atika Konika. Swagata Saha was the first runner-up, while Labiba Monjur finished second. Samanzar now begins her Miss World journey, aiming to showcase her abilities and bring pride to Bangladesh.
