Standard Islami Bank Hosts Town Hall Meeting 2026

Standard Islami Bank PLC organized its Town Hall Meeting 2026 at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka on August 7, 2026, under the theme “Horizons – Redefining Future.” Branch heads from all branches and senior executives from the bank’s head office attended the event. The meeting was chaired by Managing Director Riyad Mahmud Chowdhury. Additional Managing Director Md. Siddiqur Rahman delivered the welcome speech.

The discussions focused on business growth, leadership development and strategies for future technology. During the open discussion, branch heads shared their field-level business experiences, challenges and opportunities. They also presented various proposals to expand the bank’s business and improve its operations.

In his speech, Managing Director Riyad Mahmud Chowdhury assured the branch heads that their views would receive due consideration. He stressed active participation, sincerity and coordinated efforts to achieve sustainable growth.

He also called on officials at the head office and branches to work together to ensure Shariah compliance and provide improved, technology-driven banking services. He provided necessary guidance for the bank’s overall development.
