Regarding Divorce After a Husband Tells His Wife to Leave His House
Question: A wife tells her husband, “If you cannot live with me, send me back to my father’s house.” The husband replies, “Take everything and leave.” The wife does not go as he said. Another person was present and told the husband not to say more, or it would cause trouble. After hearing this, the husband said nothing more. Has a divorce taken place in this case?
Answer: Under this account, no divorce has taken place. If the talk was just as the question describes, a divorce does not happen in this way.
