Kalema Tayyeba Installed on Parliament Wall Following PM’s Directives

The Arabic calligraphy of the Kalema Tayyeba — “La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah” (“There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”) — was installed on the wall directly behind the Speaker’s chair in the Jatiya Sangsad before the start of the 13th parliamentary session on March 12, 2026.

According to the statement, the installation was carried out following the suggestion of Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman.

It also said that, under the Prime Minister’s directive, the principle “Faith and trust in Almighty Allah” has been engraved and added at the entrances of the National Parliament building.
