UAE Leaders Celebrate Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)

In honour of the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), also known as Milad-un-Nabi, leaders of the United Arab Emirates posted special messages on social media. Every year on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, this year’s celebration took place on Tuesday. This Friday is a public holiday throughout the nation to commemorate the event.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlights the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) virtuous life and ideals on X (previously Twitter). He wrote, ‘We consider the Prophet’s eternal legacy of empathy, tolerance, and compassion on the anniversary of his birth, which elevated virtue to a noble and eternal goal. We hope that worldwide and in our region, we are blessed with enduring peace and security, and that our country and its citizens will always be safe’.

Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had similar sentiments and also shared a heartfelt message for the occasion.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, also posted on this wonderful occasion.

He wrote, ‘We celebrate a life that illuminated the path of guidance for humanity and commemorate a message that paved the way for noble character to attain blessings in this world and the Hereafter on the birth anniversary of the greatest of creation, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We express our heartfelt greetings to our loving people, our wise leadership, and our Islamic country on this special day. We ask Allah to grant us goodness, wealth, and blessings on this occasion’.
