PM Urges Collective Efforts to Build Desired State

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called on patriotic citizens, businesspeople, young entrepreneurs, researchers and people from all sections of society to come forward and work together to build a prosperous and desired Bangladesh.
The Prime Minister made the call while inaugurating the ‘Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026’ in the capital on Saturday (September 12) morning. Seeking cooperation from all quarters, the Prime Minister said, “Everyone’s cooperation is needed to run the country. So, let us all work together to build such a state, so that we can succeed in building the state we desire.”
Praising the guidance and speeches delivered by the speakers at the event, PM Tarique Rahman said, “The previous speakers, and especially Dr Anisuzzaman, through his presentation and speech on innovation, have highlighted issues that have more or less determined our course of action for the coming days. If we can gradually implement these courses of action, only then will we be able to reach our set goals.”
Highlighting the role of innovators and businesspeople in the country’s overall development, the Prime Minister said everyone must come forward with innovative ideas to meet the present needs of the state and the government. He said the government would always stand beside entrepreneurs and researchers with full support.
Later, the Prime Minister formally declared the ‘Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026’ open. Senior government officials, prominent businesspeople, local and foreign innovators, and researchers from different levels attended the event.
Science and Technology Minister Fakir Mahbub Anam, Prime Minister’s Adviser for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Rehan Asif Asad, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Science and Technology M Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, BUET Professor Dr Muhammad Anisuzzaman Talukder, and the Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, among others, addressed the event.
