Dr. Yunus’s Organization Temporarily Ordered To Pay 6.66 Billion Taxes

The Appellate Division’s Chamber Court has upheld, for the time being, the High Court ruling stating that Grameen Kalyan, an organization owned by former Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus, must pay 6.66 billion taka in taxes claimed by the National Board of Revenue (NBR). Justice Farah Mahbub’s Chamber Court passed the order on Monday, September 14.
