Ahl-e-Hadith Congratulates Prime Minister

Bangladesh Jamiat-e-Ahl-e-Hadith has expressed its sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and his government for appointing Mohammad Shamim Kaiser Lincoln as the newly appointed State Minister for Religious Affairs, describing him as a deserving candidate. The organization also extended its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed state minister. The organization conveyed the message through a press release sent to the media yesterday. It expressed hope that the new state minister would play a positive role in discharging his responsibilities through his wisdom on religious matters, sound Islamic knowledge and active involvement in religious affairs. The organization also prayed to Almighty Allah for his success in carrying out his responsibilities. The statement further said Bangladesh Jamiat-e-Ahl-e-Hadith expects him to play an effective role in promoting religious practices free from shirk, bid‘ah and superstition in accordance with the Quran and authentic Sunnah. It also expressed hope that he would work to safeguard the religious rights of citizens belonging to all faiths. The organization wished him success in maintaining mutual harmony, goodwill and fraternity among Muslims as well
