Bhutan PM, Maldives vice president hold separate meetings with Tarique Rahman

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who is in New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, held separate sideline meetings with Bhutanese Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay and Maldivian Vice President Uz. Hussain Mohamed Latheef at the UN Headquarters.
During the separate meetings on Tuesday, they discussed ways to further strengthen the existing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Bhutan and between Bangladesh and the Maldives.
They also exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest, as well as different aspects of regional and international cooperation.
The meetings also discussed possibilities for expanding existing areas of cooperation for the mutual interests and well-being of the peoples of the respective countries.
