Prime Minister Tarique Rahman holds sideline meeting with World Bank President Ajay Banga

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who is in New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, held a sideline meeting with World Bank Group President Ajay Banga at the UN Headquarters.
During the meeting on Tuesday, they discussed Bangladesh’s development priorities, economic progress and various issues of mutual interest.
They also exchanged views on further strengthening World Bank support for Bangladesh’s development activities. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Ajay Banga also discussed possibilities for expanding areas of partnership between Bangladesh and the World Bank in the future.
