BNP Will Eradicate All Forms of Crime from Society: Mr. Rizvi
BNP Acting Secretary General Mr. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said, “BNP will eradicate all forms of crime, including rape and violence against women, from society.”
He made the remarks at a programme organised in front of the BNP central office in Naya Paltan on Saturday (September 12) marking the founding anniversary of the Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal.
Mr. Rizvi said, “The government is working to ensure women’s empowerment and social security. Activists of the Mohila Dal must also play an important role in this effort.”
He said, “Today, BNP is in power, and each of us is part of the government. Being part of the government does not necessarily mean holding a position or designation.”
Addressing the leaders and activists of the Mohila Dal, Mr. Rizvi said, “The Mohila Dal also has its blood and sweat invested in the Prime Minister’s government. You are also part of this government.”
The BNP leader described the government’s ‘Family Card’ programme aimed at women’s empowerment as a landmark initiative. He said, “Mohila Dal leaders must play an important role in making the government’s programme successful.”
He also called on Mohila Dal leaders and activists to inform the public about the various initiatives taken by the government for women’s empowerment and social security.
