Deeds Must Be for Allah’s Pleasure, Not for Show: Sarsina Peer Sahib

Amir-e-Hizbullah Alhajj Hazrat Maulana Mufti Shah Abu Nasar Nesharuddin Ahmad Husain (M.Z.A.) stated, ‘Worship should be performed solely to attain the pleasure of Almighty Allah. No good deed should be done for the sake of human praise, honour, or applause. Showy or ostentatious worship defeats the true purpose of a believer’s deeds. Therefore, every Muslim must ensure the purity of intention (Niyyah) and perform all acts of worship exclusively for Allah’s satisfaction’.
He further added that heartfelt sincerity, Taqwa (godliness), and the purity of deeds are far more important than mere outward behaviour and formal rituals. Self-publicity and ostentation must be avoided in worship, and the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah should be strictly followed. He urged everyone to play their respective roles in establishing Islamic ideals across personal, family, and social spheres.
He made these remarks as the chief guest while addressing a Mahfil of Eesale Sawab, Waj, and Dua at the Gharmora Central Eidgah Ground in the Kalagachhia area under Bandar Upazila, Narayanganj, on Monday, October 19. The event was organised by the Bandar Upazila branch of Bangladesh Jamyate Hizbullah and its affiliate organisations, Aimmaye Hizbullah, Yuba Hizbullah, and Chhatra Hizbullah, on the occasion of the arrival of the Pir Sahib Kebla of Sarsina Darbar Sharif.
Among others who addressed the Mahfil were Bangladesh Jamyate Hizbullah’s Organising Secretary Maulana Md. Hemayet Bin Taiyeb, Sarsina Daruchunnat Jameya Neshariya Deeniya Naeb-e-Mudeer Maulana Md. Mamunul Haq, and Maulana Md. Mohebbullah Al Mahmud, a travelling companion of Hazrat Pir Sahib Kebla.
The event was attended by local Islamic scholars (Ulema), devout Muslims, and leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jamyate Hizbullah, Yuba Hizbullah, and Chhatra Hizbullah, alongside people from various professions. Following the discussions, Hazrat Pir Sahib Kebla conducted the final supplication (Akheri Munajat), praying for the peace, prosperity, and welfare of the country, the nation, and the global Muslim Ummah, as well as seeking the pleasure of Almighty Allah.
