126 flights to Saudi routes suspended

Limited operations at the airports in Saudi Arabia have kept 126 flights suspended on direct and transit routes. This has put 19,377 passengers in trouble. Of the suspended flights, 59 are on direct routes and 67 are on transit routes.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) confirmed this information yesterday evening.
Among the direct flights, 20 belong to Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 19 to Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia), 10 to US-Bangla Airlines and 10 to Riyadh Air.
On the other hand, the list of suspended transit flights includes 24 flights of IndiGo, 14 of Emirates, 9 of Qatar Airways, 7 of Salam Air, 6 of flydubai, 6 of Air India and one of EgyptAir.
The suspension has left thousands of passengers unsure about when they can reach their destinations. Passengers going to Saudi Arabia suffer the most. So do those who take a transit from there to reach other countries.
This uncertainty in flight operations may continue until the situation returns to normal. But the authorities have given no clear information about when all flights will return to their normal schedule.
