PM Congratulates Najmul and Team via Video Call

The Bangladesh National Cricket Team has received heartfelt congratulations from Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and State Minister for Youth and Sports, Md. Aminul Haq for their historic 9-wicket victory over Australia away from home. During a video conference with captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, the PM praised the team, enquired about their physical health, and wished them luck in the series’ next Test.

Addressing a news conference, Captain Shanto described the high-level correspondence, pointing out that the Home Minister, the PM, and the BCB President all individually phoned the team to congratulate them and show their happiness. Meanwhile, the entire country and representatives of the sports ministry are still commemorating the faultless performance that brought about this significant turning point in Bangladeshi cricket history.
