Power Cut For 7 Straight Hours In Several Areas On Saturday
Due to urgent emergency maintenance, residents in a number of localities under the Konabari Zonal Office in Gazipur will be without electricity for seven hours today, Saturday, August 29. Md. Shafiqul Islam, Deputy General Manager (DGM) of the Konabari Zone Office, confirmed the shutdown and said that power connections will continue to be shut off across the specified locations from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Utility officials apologized to customers for the brief inconvenience and promised to immediately restore regular power supply as soon as the repair activities are totally completed.
Several neighborhoods, including Quddus Nagar, Peyara Bagan, Chairman Barir Mor, the jail area, Cotton Club, Halima Road, Namapara, 10 Tala, Konabari Housing, Pukurpar, Jarun, Pathanbari Road, Titas Factory Lane, Parijat, Selimnagar, Ambag, Baghia, Joyertek, Pratappur, Naser Market, Borab, Kaler Vita, Meghlal, Baburchir Mor, Mitali Club, Notun Bazar, China Market, Deoliyabari, Collegegate, Enayetpur, Clubmor, Sabuj Kanon, Hatimara, Baganbari Chowrasta, Enayetpur School Market, Beltola, and all nearby communities, will be impacted by the planned power outages.
