Prime Minister to Visit Türkiye in November

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to visit Türkiye in November to attend the upcoming COP climate conference, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir said. He made the remarks during a meeting with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Musa Kulaklayar on the sidelines of the 23rd OIC Special CFM in Jeddah. During the meeting, Bangladesh expressed its interest in granting Türkiye a special economic zone. The two sides also discussed regional developments and areas of mutual interest. They expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic and defense sectors. Both sides emphasized the need to expand cooperation in more areas and further strengthen Bangladesh-Türkiye relations.
