32 Dengue Cases Reported in Kishoreganj in 24 Hours, 89 Patients Hospitalized

The dengue situation in Kishoreganj district is deteriorating. In the past 24 hours, 32 more people have tested positive for dengue in the district. During the same period, 28 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals. The information was disclosed in the latest dengue report published by the Kishoreganj Civil Surgeon’s Office on Monday (September 7).
According to the report, a total of 795 people have been infected with dengue in the district from January to September 7 this year. Of them, 706 have recovered and returned home after treatment. No deaths from dengue have been reported in the district so far.
Currently, 89 dengue patients are admitted to various government hospitals and medical colleges in the district and are receiving treatment.

- Pakundia Upazila Health Complex: 3
- Nikli Upazila Health Complex: 2
- Hossainpur Upazila Health Complex: 2
- President Abdul Hamid Medical College: 2
- Kuliarchar Upazila Health Complex: 1
The health department has advised everyone to remain alert to prevent dengue and keep the surroundings of their homes clean.
