Rabiul Awwal Offers a Great Opportunity to Express Love for the Prophet Muhammad (S.): Maulana Ahmad Hasan Chowdhury Fultali

Maulana Ahmad Hasan Chowdhury Fultali, Joint Secretary General of Bangladesh Anjuman-e Al-Islah, said that the month of Rabiul Awwal is a unique opportunity to express love and devotion to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.) and awaken people’s faith. Many scholars in the Arab world refer to the month as “Rabiul Iman” or the “springtime of faith.”
He said the month of Rabiul Awwal creates an opportunity to awaken those who remain heedless and connect them with the Prophet of Allah (S.). During this month, people expand their knowledge about the beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.). Everyone gets an opportunity to express their love for the Prophet Muhammad (S.) before Almighty Allah according to their ability and qualification.
He made these remarks as the chief guest at a discussion meeting held ahead of a Mubarak Rally organized by the Habiganj district branch of Bangladesh Anjuman-e Talamiye Islamia on Sunday (September 6), on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S.). The discussion meeting was held at Saifur Rahman Town Hall in Habiganj at 11am. Later, after Zuhr prayers, a colorful Mubarak Rally was brought out across the city. The rally passed through the city’s main roads and ended at Saifur Rahman Town Hall.
Maulana Ahmad Hasan Chowdhury Fultali further said that on the day the beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.) arrived in Medina, people of all ages, including children and teenagers, welcomed him through poetry and expressed gratitude upon seeing him directly. He said, “We can join them in saying that we too must express gratitude for being followers of the Prophet Muhammad (S.).” He added that Almighty Allah has instructed people in the Holy Quran to show gratitude for His blessings. For believers, Hazrat Muhammad (S.), the beloved of Allah, is the greatest blessing.
The meeting was chaired by Foyez Ahmad Noman, president of the Habiganj district branch of Bangladesh Anjuman-e Talamiye Islamia, and moderated by its general secretary, Mohammad Khalilur Rahman. The organization’s central president, Manzurul Karim Mohsin, spoke as the chief speaker.
Special guests at the meeting included Habiganj district Al-Islah president Maulana Farid Uddin Ahmad; Deputy Director General of the Islamic Foundation, Muhammad Moniruzzaman; Kadamchhal Pir Saheb Maulana Abul Kashem Naqshbandi; adviser to Habiganj-Shayestaganj Latifiya Qari Society, Syed Mushfiq Hossain; president of Latifiya Qari Society’s Nabiganj Upazila unit, Maulana Kazi Mahbub Ahmad; Khatib of Habiganj Court Mosque, Maulana Mostafizur Rahman Azhari; and former vice chairman Mahbubur Rahman Aowal.
Also present were former central assistant office secretary of Talamiye Islamia Liaquat Ali Talukdar; central assistant training secretary Muhammad Sadekur Rahman; Habiganj district Al-Islah vice-president Mufti M.A. Abdul Majid; central members Amimul Ehsan Tahsin and Md. Saidur Rahman; former district president Maulana Syed Shahedul Islam; president of the Islamic University Kushtia branch, Kazi Ahbab Dastgir; Dhaka University branch vice-president Mofazzal Hossain; and leaders from the district and various upazila levels.
The speakers highlighted the significance of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S.), love for the Prophet and the importance of following his teachings. Later, people from various professions and walks of life, along with leaders and activists of the organization, joined the colorful Mubarak Rally.
