Local Election Voter Area Change Deadline Set for September 7

Before the local government elections, voter area relocation applications are accepted through September 7 and will be processed by September 10. Election Commission (EC) Senior Assistant Secretary Md. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury issued a letter on Wednesday that contained this information.

The letter, which was sent to field-level officials, stated that in preparation for the upcoming local government body elections, the Election Commission has set a time frame for the submission, issuing, and processing of voter transfer petitions following changes in residence. Applications for voter transfer due to relocation must be submitted by September 7th. September 9 is the deadline for submitting applications, and September 10 is the deadline for processing these voter transfer requests.
