Prime Minister inaugurates Navy and Air Force Selection Board

The Navy and Air Force Selection Board was formally established on Sunday morning, August 23, at Air Force Headquarters, with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman serving as the principal guest. In addition to formally bestowing the Admiral rank badge on Navy Chief Khondaker Misbah Ul Azeem, eligible officers with the ranks of Captain, Commander, and Lieutenant Commander in the Navy as well as Group Captain, Wing Commander, and Squadron Leader in the Air Force will be evaluated for promotions under this board.
The PM emphasised the importance of merit above all else and called for promotions to be made only based on professional ability, leadership abilities, discipline, and foresight, without regard to political beliefs or personal preferences.
