Opposition Leader Exchanges Views With Editors

Opposition Leader and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman held an exchange of views with editors of several national newspapers in Dhaka on Monday (August 24). The meeting began at 12:15pm at the opposition leader’s official residence on Minto Road.

Editors and senior representatives from several leading newspapers and news outlets attended the meeting, including AMM Bahauddin of The Daily Inqilab, Shafique Rehman of Jaijaidin and convener of the National Editors Council (NEC), Mahmudur Rahman of Amar Desh and NEC joint convener, Mahfuz Anam of The Daily Star, Sajjad Sharif of Prothom Alo, and Salahuddin Mohammad Babar of Naya Diganta. Representatives from Banik Barta, Khabar Kagoj, Ajker Patrika, Banijjo Pratidin, Dhaka Mail, Daily Evening News, Pratidin Bangladesh, Dainik Edin and Bhorer Dak also attended the meeting.
